John A. Yilek has taught Norwegian history for many years, and is the author of History of Norway, Stories of Norway, and a new Norwegian text called Norges historie. He is an honor graduate of the University of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota Law School, who co-founded Mindekirken's first Advanced Norwegian Conversation Group. John has traveled extensively in Norway, where his cousins live in Røros and Nordland.
