Bienes historie Part 2 - ONLINE
BIENES HISTORIE-PART 2- ONLINE
Join us this winter as we continue reading Bienes historie, a best-selling novel that combines three intertwining stories about relationships between parents and children, grief and vulnerability. William is a melancholic biologist and seed merchant in England in 1852. He sets out to build a completely new type of beehive that will bring honor and fame to both himself and his children. George is a beekeeper in the USA in 2007 and is fighting against the odds, but he hopes his son can be the farm's saviour. Tao works with hand pollination in a future China where the bees have disappeared. She wants more than anything else for her son to get an education and a better life than herself. This class is intended for learners who seek a challenge and desire to actively engage in their learning through speaking, reading and writing.
