Kureren Part 3 - ONLINE
KUREREN-PART 3- ONLINE
Kureren begins in 1942, when Ester, a Jewish courier, flees to Sweden after narrowly escaping the Gestapo. In Stockholm, she meets resistance hero Gerhard Falkum who has fled from the Germans as well as speculation that he murdered his wife Åse. Ester and Falkum’s budding relationship ends abruptly when Falkum apparently dies in a fire in 1943. Twenty-five years later Gerhard Falkum re-appears in Oslo. He wants to resume contact with the daughter he had with Åse. Join us as we finish reading this thriller and contemplate the reason he re-appears after 25 years. This class is designed for learners with a strong grasp of Norwegian and desire to actively engage in their learning through conversation, grammar exercises, vocabulary development, read alouds, and special projects.
