‘Our Common Future’ - Key readings in Norwegian Environmental Policy

In this class we will be reading ‘Our Common Future,’ the official publication of the United Nations World Commission on Environment and Development. Norwegian Prime Minister Gro Harlem Brundtland served as the Commission’s Chairman, and the book could be considered a blueprint for Norwegian domestic and international policy making in the years after publication in 1987,

In addition, we will also be working on putting ideas into action by planting a pollinator/native plant plot. We will look at various sources of plants and seeds, learn more about what to plant where and then put our ideas into action by actually constructing a plot. 

Class is taught entirely in English.
